The Kingsbridge & Salcombe Estuary Circular Tour - (Route 1)
Beautiful, easy-going tour taking in some wonderful countryside, towns and villages. Plenty of refreshment stops and places of interest along the way. If travelling clock-wise, ask ferry for Whitestrand if possible to make alighting easier. Mostly quiet lanes, a few miles on main roads.

Average Time: 3 – 4 hours with a few stops

Directions
Start anywhere on loop and add mileage to and from your base for total route miles.
1. From Kingsbridge turn left at the garage in to Ropewalk
2. Continue through Collapit Creek and on to Horsecombe
3. Turn left towards Lincombe and then on to Lower Batson
4. Follow creek around to Salcombe (Ferry Inn) and take ferry across estuary (bikes £1 extra)
5. Follow estuary road to Southpool and on to Frogmore
6. Follow main road to Kingsbridge to complete loop
